On March 16, 2023, Microsoft announced a brand new feature soon to be integrated into all Microsoft 365 applications. Microsoft 365 Copilot is a personal assistant that leverages language models and data from the Microsoft 365 suite of tools to guide, assist, and simplify your tasks!
What Does Microsoft 365 Copilot Do?
Microsoft 365 Copilot generates notes, lists, or even entire paragraphs based on the text you provide! This allows you to work more efficiently.
The personal assistant can even integrate with Microsoft Power Platform to automate your tasks or create automated chats, for example.
Microsoft 365 Copilot can also create presentations based on the resources you provide, Excel charts, Outlook emails, Teams messages, and more.
It can also perform other actions such as rewriting text in a more professional tone, analyzing an Excel file, creating an application in Power Apps, or even assisting with the security of your Microsoft account and files, emails, chats, meetings, and so on.
In short, it is an extremely powerful multitasking tool that could be useful in many tasks!
How to Use Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Using Microsoft 365 Copilot is simple. In the toolbar of your Microsoft application, you just need to click on the Microsoft 365 Copilot icon.
A panel will open, and you can send your request to Copilot, and it will take care of the rest!
When Will Microsoft 365 Copilot Arrive?
There hasn't been an official release date announced, but Microsoft 365 Copilot should become available to the general public in the coming months.
